As a group of Chinese original designers with infinite passion for furniture design, we embarked on this creative journey with a heart full of vision for inheritance and innovation. Initially, we focused our attention on the furniture design of the new Chinese style.
The new Chinese style embodies a profound heritage of traditional Chinese culture. Its elegant lines, exquisite carvings and unique mortise and tenon structure all fascinate us. We are full of expectation to break new ground in this style field and create works that not only inherit the classics but also possess a modern flavor. However, in the actual design process, we encountered numerous difficulties. The traditional new Chinese style has many established norms and element restrictions, and every detail seems to be bound by the framework of history. When we try to innovate, we often fall into a contradiction: if we make too many changes, we will lose the charm of the new Chinese style; if we follow the tradition, it is difficult to give full play to our creativity, and it feels like our design inspiration is tightly bound and unable to soar freely.
After continuous struggle and exploration, we resolutely made a change - choosing the modern style as the direction of our furniture design. The modern style is like a vast creative world, which breaks down the boundaries of regions and cultures and draws nourishment from the essence of design of all mankind. Here, we are no longer limited by the inherent models of specific styles and can integrate various excellent design concepts, material applications and craftsmanship techniques from around the world. Simple and smooth lines, bold and innovative material combinations, personalized functional designs... everything is possible. We can freely display our creativity according to different space requirements, user preferences and current aesthetic trends, and endow the furniture with a unique soul.
Choosing the modern style does not mean abandoning traditional culture. On the contrary, we integrate the essence of traditional Chinese culture in a more subtle and ingenious way. It may be a tribute to traditional aesthetics in a certain design detail, or it may be an echo of the Chinese harmony concept in the overall layout. We believe that on the stage of the modern style, we can create furniture works with a more international perspective and better meet the living needs of contemporary people, allowing the world to see the infinite possibilities of Chinese original design.
